Teo-Carliss

Ok now, I've been really busy with exams lately, but this one night I decided to make myself a new company name, and I came up with "Teo-Carliss". I have no idea if it means anything in any foreign language, but it was as random as it could have been at the time. For now, I only plan on making some "professional quality" products, which means I'm going back (once again) to try and learn some C++ and inhance my skills in 3DS Max and Photoshop.
Otherwise, I might just decide to use the name as a band name, but sadly, I cannot find anybody for band members, so I guess I'll still write solo.

Happy New Year 09

Happy New Year 2009 to all!
I personally had a fairly good new year, with the exception to my cold that I caught. Otherwise, my holidays went well.
On another note, I'm starting to get really "into" Photoshop and I started to update my channel on Youtube (PlantemAC). I don't have any videos uploaded yet, considering that I am yet to figure out what to do yet, and I'm still looking for a good video editing program since for some odd reason, Wax Debug doesn't seem to work when it comes to playing back the audio and rendering the AVI file... Also, I'm learning some tips/tricks for 3DS Max, I'm doing a lot more stuff on Game Maker and I plan on learning more C++ to make a wrapper for PhysX by Nvidia.
So yeah, that's it for this time! I should write more often since it's been around 2 months from the last post.

3DS Max

Yay, I just got 3DS Max 2009 last week! I started with the basic stuff on the main page, and now I'm checking out the tutorials on the site. I can't wait to start making models and animating stuff, especially with Havok physics!
I figured that if I couldn't get OGRE 3D to work properly for now, I might as well make models, but I might just go try OgenGL or DirectX from now on, since I already know that DirectX works and OpenGL should, I'm guessing, equally work.
Anyways, toodles for now, I might be posting sooner or later with updates on how 3DS Max is and whether or not Ogre (or other systems) work.

Teaching myself some new stuff

Well since yesterday, I decided to look at ways of simulating physics in computers, so I did a simple Google search for "3D Physics" and eventually I found this great site : Euclidean Space, where I'm starting to learn stuff. But before getting in the hard stuff, I decided to check out all the math stuff, I just started looking at logarithms which I thought difficult at a first glance, but after reading, it was so easy I couldn't believe that I didn't learn it yet in math class. Anyways, so that's about it, I'm trying to make a physics simulation on the computer using what I will learn from that site. If you would like to learn about this kind of stuff, I say you should check it out.

My First Post

Well, this is my blog that I decided to start since everybody seems to be doing it, just like when everyone used to wear bell-bottoms and afros and like when the end of the world was the Y2K, not that I was old enough to understand at the time. So basically, I'll just randomly post what I did in my free time, and stuff like that, nothing more, nothing less.
That's about as good as it will get...
